A 14-km long transmission line is to be constructed by the Liberty Energy Hydropower Company Pvt. Ltd for the Upper Dordi Hydel Project of 25 mw to be constructed in Dordi Khola (river) of Lamjung, from Kirtipur of Dhodeni VDC of Lamjung to mid-Marsyangdi Hydel Project.
The company will construct it at a cost of Rs. 200 million and it is going to sign the agreement with Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) very soon.
There are four hydel projects under construction in Dordi Khola and a total of 146 mw of electricity will be generated from these projects. After the construction of the transmission line, the four projects will be linked to national grid.
